Ramadan 2026: Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman announce extended park hours
DUBAI – Public parks and major attractions across Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman will operate on revised schedules during Ramadan 2026, with authorities extending evening access to match the rhythm of the holy month.
The updated timings aim to support families, fitness enthusiasts and visitors who prefer outdoor activities after iftar.
Municipalities said the changes are designed to improve community engagement while accommodating late-night gatherings and Ramadan events.
Dubai
Dubai Municipality has confirmed flexible hours for parks, lake destinations and popular attractions throughout Ramadan. Several facilities will close before midnight, including Children’s City, which will run from 9am to 4pm. Mountain Biking Track, Hiking Trail and Cubs Track will operate from 6:30am to 6pm, while Dubai Frame will welcome visitors from 10am to 7pm.
Al Safa Park will open from 12pm to 10pm and Al Mamzar Beach Park from 8am to 11pm. Meanwhile, a number of major parks will remain open until midnight. These include Zabeel Park, Quranic Park, Mushrif National Park and Al Khawaneej Park, all operating from 9am to 12am. Within Quranic Park, the Cave and Glass House attractions will run from 1pm to 9:30pm.
Residential parks and public plazas across the emirate will stay open from 8am to 1am. Lake parks will offer the latest access, remaining open from 8am to 2am. These include Al Twar Pond Park, Al Nahda Pond Park, Al Khawaneej Pond Park, Al Barsha Pond Park, Ghadeer Al Tair Lake and Lime Lake Park, reflecting strong demand for late-night outdoor spaces during Ramadan.
Sharjah
In Sharjah, the municipality has introduced split schedules for key destinations. Sharjah National Park and Al Rolla Square Park will open from 7:30am to 1pm and reopen from 4pm until 1am.
All other public parks in the emirate will operate daily from 4pm to 1am. Paid parking in Sharjah will apply from Saturday to Thursday between 8am and midnight. Parking remains free on Fridays except in designated smart parking zones and areas that charge 24 hours.
Ajman
Authorities in Ajman have also extended access to outdoor spaces. The Municipality and Planning Department confirmed that all public parks will open from 4pm until 1am throughout Ramadan.
Paid parking in Ajman will run in two shifts from Saturday to Thursday, from 9am to 1pm and again from 8pm to midnight. Parking will be free daily between 1pm and 8pm, as well as on Fridays and official public holidays.
